Assignment 3. Scrolling Shooter Game

I must say that this game was far easier than the last game. It was very simple to create. I really think it is easier because now I am familiar with game maker and gets how it works now. The difference between the scrolling shooter game and the maze game is that the scrolling shooter game most of the time you dont have to find a virtual sprite. The sprite doesn't have to move certain ways and detailed in every step. I personally enjoyed making the maze game more because of the different effects and details within the game. The scrolling shooter game was an easy shot and didn't take up as much time as the maze game. The only thing that was confusing about the scrolling shooter game was the different coordinates with x and y. Trying to figure out the different numbers and what works with what was very confusing. Over than that I really enjoyed making the game which is starring strawberry shortcake. Thanks for taking out the time to read my blog and hope you like the game.

Top Scrolling Shooter Games

The top five shooting games look very interesting to me. I actually like shooting games and scroll shooter games also. From 5 to 1 the 5th top scroll game is M.U.S.H.A. They say M.U.S.H.A is one of the greatest shooter games & has many different effects like lighting and reflection. The 4th top scroll game is Lighting Force. This game has to do with going through waves and shooting ships and giant aliens. The 3rd top scroll game is DoDonPachi. This game was formed by the japanese and was only released in japanese arcades in 1997.

The 2nd top scrolling shooter game is River Raid. It was released 1982 and is known as one of the best games for that console. The game requires you to scroll from left to right and shoot down choppers, ballons, and tankers. The game looks very interesting to me and I would play it. Last but not least the #1 top scrolling shooter game is Radiant Silvergun. This game was made in 1998 and is known to have outrageous graphics on it. This game has made alot of money on ebay because people still play it. There is one last game that I enjoy and still play to this day and thats Galaga. Galaga is a very interesting game and very competitive. This game is still popular in the society today. People still buy it for there game systems and still order it or play the free downloads. Galaga has made the top 5 list if you ask me.........!!!!
